Helping Out in Scouts

Scouting relies on parent and community volunteers, and there are flexible ways to get involved depending on your time and interest.

Adult Supporters assist Leaders during meetings, activities and overnight activities (camps). They help supervise and support the program but do not run activities independently.

Adult Contributors provide occasional or behind-the-scenes help, such as assisting with events, administration, fundraising or sharing specific skills.

No prior Scouting experience is needed — all roles follow child-safe screening requirements.

Getting involved helps create better experiences for young people and strengthens our Scout community. If you’d like to help, please .
